VRL22A EV Residual Current Circuit Breaker with overcurrent protection TYPE A EV (RCBO TYPE A EV) is the Type EV RCBO which has been developed specifically for EV charging systems and can detect AC and DC residual currents, over current (overload) and short circuit protection in accordance with the requirements of EN61009-1 and IEC62955(RDC-PD: Residual Direct Current Protective Device )

VRL22A EV Type A EV RDC-PD/RCBO is designed specifically for use in Mode 3 charging applications.

Tripping is ensured for slowly increasing sinusoidal AC residual currents

Tripping is ensured for sinusoidal AC residual currents and for pulsed DC residual currents, whether applied suddenly or increasing slowly.
